Rosemount™ 2240S Multipoint Input Temperature Transmitter

Rosemount™ Temperature Transmitter Series

The Rosemount 2240S is a proven performer and is now certified for use in demanding custody transfer applications that require accurate temperature measurement to calculate net standard volume. It can be used with the Rosemount 565, 566 or 765 temperature sensor. The Rosemount 2240S can connect up to sixteen 3-wire or 4-wire temperature point elements and an integrated water level sensor. From each single point temperature element, combined with the corresponding liquid level value, the average liquid temperature is provided and the net volume is calculated. Its temperature conversion accuracy is excellent at ± 0.05 °C (± 0.09 °F).
