Gateways and IIoT
Each server tag in a multi-drive configuration can be connected to a different communication protocol simultaneously. Through the Internet of Things (IoT) protocol, data read on site can be directly connected to remote systems or cloud data collection platforms (Emerson Cloud.-Databoom-).
Historian and data logger
Connext©Server allows the use of historians to log data in a relational database (SQL Server is used by default) or in the Cloud (SQL Azure).Connext©Supports OPC UA historical access and can be used as a data collection system to provide historical data.
Alarms and conditions
Connext©Server can optionally configure alarms and manage alarm and condition specifications in OPC UA clients on demand.
